Studio
No office.
No borders.
Only the work.
Studios Ground Zero is a small senior crew making real-time VFX for games. We work from Québec and wherever our people do their best work, for productions across North America and Europe. What holds it together is not an address. It is the reputation we rebuild with every delivery.
Why we exist
The studio is the people, not the address.
We started Ground Zero in 2024 on a simple observation: the artist a production needs is rarely in the same city as the team that needs them.
So we built a studio with nothing between the craft and the client. No building, no bench, no layers of account management. A tight crew of senior artists and technical directors, anchored in Québec, working from the places they call home.
Being small is the point. Every effect that leaves the studio carries our name, and we intend to work in this industry for a long time. Reputation is the only marketing we invest in: the next production always comes from the last one shipped.
Where the work goes

How we hold ourselves
Five things we won't trade.
- 01
Craft before headcount
Placements are senior only, and our in-house crew is mid-level and above, directed by seniors. Nobody learns the basics on your budget.
- 02
Embedded, not outsourced
We work inside your engine, your pipeline and your meetings. You see the work as it happens, not at the end of the month.
- 03
Game VFX, nothing else
No film, no advertising, no side quests. One discipline, practised daily, is what keeps the bar where it belongs.
- 04
Honest scope
Realistic timelines and a budget we defend together. If something threatens the plan, you hear it from us first.
- 05
Reputation over reach
We would rather stay small and be recommended than scale and be average. Every delivery either builds the name or spends it.
